INTRODUCTION

EnvirOzone Technologies, Inc. (EOT) is a privately held, California registered, environmental company primarily concerned with the treatment of water and wastewater. The heart of EOT's technology is an advanced oxidation process based on dissolved air flotation (DAF), ozone injection, ultraviolet irradiation and filtration. Process applications include, but are not limited to Remediation of Groundwater, Industrial Wastewater, Municipal Wastewater and Potable Water. EOT's patented system and process combines a number of innovative and patented processes into one unique system. This system creates a synergistic effect between DAF, filtration, ozonation and UV irradiation. Depending on the application, EOT's system can be combined with biological filtration, multi-media filtration, activated charcoal adsorption, micron and sub-micron filtration, and reverse osmosis (RO) to produce water meeting quality requirements of the client.

METHOD OF OPERATION

EnvirOzone Technologies, Inc. acts as a Project Management Company. First EOT assesses the client's requirements and prepares a preliminary design. After approval, EOT subcontracts the final design, construction, shipping and installation. Once the treatment system is in place, EOT engineers perform the final testing, optimize the operation, train the client's technicians and provide on-going support.

APPLICATIONS

The EOT Advanced Oxidation System has demonstrated its ability to disinfect, deodorize, remove color, oxidize organic chemicals and inactivate pathogens- such as, Cryptosporidium and Giardia - without the use of chemicals. Successful applications have been demonstrated for numerous industries such as: Chemical Companies & Petroleum Refining (Chevron Chemical Company - Ortho Division, Shell Oil Company, Unocal and the Riyadh Oil Refinery), Food Processing (Foster Farms and Zachy Farms), Municipal Sewage (East Bay Municipal Utility District, City of Sanger and Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District), treatment of Radioactive Cresols (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories) and Water Wells contaminated with pesticides, fungicides, solvents, agricultural chemicals and other contaminants (City of Fresno, Inland Crop Dusting and Bakersfield R.V.).

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY CERTIFICATION

In March 2001, the California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified EOT's process for treating secondary effluent from a municipal wastewater treatment plant. Details may be found at the California EPA website.

VERSATILITY

Other advantages of EOT's systems are:

      • mobile, skid mounted or permanently installed on concrete pads
      • economical and effective
      • simple to operate
      • require very little attention and/or maintenance
      • can be fully automated.

Mobile units are available for testing. Mobile and skid mounted systems can be manufactured by EOT through a light manufacturing facility.
